Welcome-Beverly Hills Plastic Surgeon

Plastic Surgeon offers Breast Augmentation with Implants in Beverly Hills

People in the Los Angeles area and all over Southern California are looking for a good Beverly Hills plastic surgeon. Board certified specialist Harrison Lee, M.D. is fully qualified to help you achieve your dream by enhancing your figure and giving you newfound confidence with a breast augmentation.

Dr. Lee understands that one of the most important preoperative decisions you can make is the shape, size, and filler for your breast implants. During your consultation, Dr. Lee will be happy to go over the pros and cons of each with you, as well as to talk you through the procedure and address any concerns you may have.

Here is some information on the two different types of breast implants offered at Dr. Lee’s Center for Maxillofacial Plastic Surgery:

  • Saline
    • Currently the most frequently used breast implant in Los Angeles; saline implants vary in shell surface (i.e. smooth or textured), volume, shell thickness, profile, and shape (round or anatomical). Even though most implants are filled at the time of surgery, there are implants available that come pre-filled by the manufacturer, but they are not currently approved by the FDA.
  • Silicone
    • Used in some Beverly Hills breast augmentation surgeries, silicone implants have three layers of shell surrounding the implant, and while this reduces the amount of gel bleed, it does make the shell a bit harder due to the thickness of the shell. Silicone implants come pre-filled. One of the drawbacks of pre-filled breast implants is that the incision required to insert them must be a bit longer than what would be needed to insert an empty implant.
